ALS United Rocky Mountain is dedicated to providing unwavering support to individuals and families affected by ALS across Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. Our relentless pursuit of a cure for this progressive neurodegenerative disease remains steadfast.

OUR PROGRAMS - MAXIMIZING YOUR IMPACT!

For over 28 years, ALS United Rocky Mountain has been a beacon of hope for those battling ALS and their loved ones. With heartfelt compassion, we coordinate services to ensure each person receives the utmost support, preserving their dignity and independence.  

From our five ALS clinics to our transformative ‘Quality of Life’ grants, all are made possible by the generosity of supporters like you. Your contributions directly impact over 600 individuals living with ALS and their families annually, spanning across Colorado, Wyoming, & Utah, while also fueling vital ALS research.

Support for families: In 2023, our chapter provided essential services for over 600 families affected by ALS. Through tailored programs, home visits, and collaborative efforts with our ALS clinics, we ensure the highest standard of care for patients and caregivers.

Quality of Life Grant Program: Last year, we awarded 57 grants totaling $25,595, easing financial burdens for families and enhancing their quality of life through home care, modifications, and more.

Support Groups: With 130 support groups and over 1165 participants in 2023, we fostered community cohesion and addressed the unique needs of each group, promoting solidarity and understanding.

Durable Medical Equipment & Home Safety: Through our lending program, we provided over 2,500 pieces of equipment, empowering individuals with ALS to maintain independence and safety at home.

Special Educational Events: Our 16 educational events in 2023, attended by 632 individuals, tackled pertinent topics, enriching the knowledge and resilience of ALS families.

Communications and Assistive Devices: We offer essential communication devices to those in need, bridging gaps in accessibility and ensuring every voice is heard within the ALS community.

Advocacy: ALS United Rocky Mountain tirelessly advocates for legislative changes to improve the lives of those affected by ALS. From research funding to healthcare access, our advocacy efforts strive for meaningful progress and support for caregivers.

Research: Our collaborative and global approach to funding research continues to lead to significant discoveries by top ALS scientists around the world.
